A large percentage of Ashes of Creation's game systems are expected to be in place for אלפא-2.[1]
- The Alpha-2 map will be approximately 220 km2 in size.[2]
- Alpha-2 is going to be probably about half of the world space available as part of the testing. I would say just over 220 square kilometers of world for players to explore, which is a pretty comprehensive portion of the game.[2] – Steven Sharif

Alpha-2 is intending to be obviously a very large chunk of the game's mechanics: a very very big percentage of it.[1] – Steven Sharif
UI, tutorial systems, and much of the questing will remain placeholder for Alpha One, and won't really come online until Alpha Two.[14] – Steven Sharif
אלפא-1 and אלפא-2 testers may be invited to participate in spot testing prior to the Alpha-2 release.[15]
אלפא-2 is known as the persistent alpha.[16][17]
