Alpha-2 is intending to be obviously a very large chunk of the game's mechanics: a very very big percentage of it.[1] – Steven Sharif
אלפא-2 is the Persistent alpha.[2][3] All core game systems are expected to be in place for this test, including:

- Node progression to עיר (שלב 5) and potentially מטרופולין (שלב 6).[1]
- Actual sieges in the real sense.[1]
- Tulnar race.[4]
- Naval content.[1]
- Naval warfare.[1]
- Three ship classes.[1][5]
- Ships will have functioning cannons but the ship building UI may not be complete.[1]

- All archetypes will be available.[7]
- Some secondary classes and augments.[8][9]
- Combat changes (from אלפא-1).[7]
- Active and passive skills will be re-architected.[7]

- Weapon skill trees will be present to augment the combo system.[11]
