Combat pets (also referred to as Universal combat pets) may be tamed from certain creatures in the world.[1]
- Combat pets will not increase a player's power and will require a sacrifice from the player.[2]
- Combat pets have a horizontal progression, not a vertical one.[2]
- Combat pets are categorized by class and will adhere to a simple trinity structure (Tank/DPS/Support).[3]
- Combat pets will also be categorized into different rarities.[3]

Combat pets are not the same as Summoner summons.[3]
